Vertic Vertical Game Boards

Vertic™ Vertical Game Boards!

Verticä is a game of strategy, memory, movement, and pure excitement. Have fun and enjoy.

The object of the game is to get four Ver or Tic tile cards in a row. (Tile cards may vary if you have seasonal cards). This can be done around the Vertical Game Board, straight up the Vertical Game Board, or diagonally up the Vertical Game Board.

Game Set Up:

Place round base on firm foundation (table, or counter). Next place block on top of round base and continue stacking blocks on top of each other, until all blocks are sitting on each other on the round base. Each player receives either 10 Ver or 10 Tic tile cards. When ready, the first player slides one tile card into the channels, anywhere on the board with print showing. Then the next player proceeds in that fashion.

As the game progresses, a player can spin the blocks horizontally for a turn instead of dropping a tile card.

Spinning the VERTICä vertical game board:

A player may move the entire vertical board as a whole to view all sides.

The blocks can be turned only until a tile card drops into the next open spot, the spin can be done in any direction. A player cannot turn the blocks if there is not an open space for a tile card to drop into! It does not matter whose tile card drops. Once a tile card drops the spin is done and so is that persons turn. When a player spins a block all top blocks above the one being turned must spin with the block that is being moved. A player cannot move one block without moving those on top in the same direction. Therefore, spinning the blocks might drop a few tile cards to the next level.

Rules for stalemate:

If a stalemate occurs after all cards have been played, the next person’s turn is to move individual blocks one turn at a time. The top blocks do not move with the lower blocks in stalemate rules. The first person with four in a row wins.

The VERTICä game strategy relies on spinning the board, this adds confusion for your opponent. A players turn is over when he or she has released the tile card or has spun the board for a tile card to drop. So play intently.

Play your own version:

* For an added challenge you can also play Corners. This allows four of the same tile cards to be touching one another on the corners at any location on the Vertical Game Board.

* Using the four block unit, try playing 3 in a row, or just corners

* If your using two Vertical Game Boards stacked (total of 8 blocks high) play 5,6,7,or 8 in a row.

Verticä is proudly crafted in Pennsylvania, USA with quality wood, so don’t hide Verticä in the closet!
